Calling all PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, TEACHERS, CHILDCARE PROVIDERS, COACHES, BIG BUDDIES, CASAs, and more to take part in this FREE PRESENTATION by River Bridge Regional Center and Pitkin County Health & Human Services
At this training, you will hear from experts in the field of child abuse
- Kat Stenquist, Forensic Interviewer with RBRC, will lead you to understand signs of child abuse and how to respond to a child’ disclosure
- Kelli Kirkpatrick, Caseworker with Pitkin County HHS, will educate you on how to report child abuse and the role of Child Protection in Pitkin County
- Meghan Hurley, LCSW with Garfield County DHS, will provide you with age-appropriate skills and ways to speak to children about sexual abuse and body safety.
