Kayla Bailey

Kayla relocated to the Roaring Fork Valley in the fall of 2020 to initially become the Program Director for the Mind Springs Health office in Aspen and has since transitioned to the role of the Director of the Healthy Futures Coalition with Aspen School District.  Prior to moving to Colorado, Kayla served as the Director of Prevention and Community Awareness with ChildSafe, the Child Advocacy Center located in San Antonio, Tx.  Kayla brings with her wide ranging leadership experience in education, behavioral health, advocacy, policy development, grant management, strategic planning and community building.  She is passionate about the important work done by Child Advocacy Centers and was grateful to be accepted by the board to continue to support this work in the valley that has become her home.  When not working, Kayla enjoys traveling, hiking Mt. Sopris, and recently took her fist downhill ski lesson where she stayed “mostly upright.”
